After a wrong decision by the Sheriff for allegedly using a mobile phone i was looking at a 6 month ban . Euan suggested putting together an extreme hardship case which was presented to the court . This was accepted and i ended up with a £250 fine and three points . This was gratefully received as time without my licence would have caused no end of hardship for my business . This is an extremely belated thank you to Mr Robertson and I hope that he will forgive me for not attending to this more quickly, However personal circumstances have meant that I have been unable to focus upon anything other than the health of my daughter and myself.
Mr Robertson came to my aid between June and August of last year. I had been abandoned by the RAC, despite being a long term client who had never once made a claim. They had referred me to someone unable to properly represent me which resulted in unbelievable, and very unnecessary stress at a time when I was in no position to cope. What had initially seemed to be a most trivial matter of my car breaking down and running through a pedestrian crossing (leading to a ticket being issued) turned into a trial. My insurer refused to pay out and as a long term disabled person with a desperately unwell daughter I was left with nowhere to turn. Mr Robertson took up the case and within a very short time had the matter dismissed leaving me with a clean license and no fine to pay. Were it not for his assistance I would have been forced to represent myself. Not only would I recommend Euan and the work he has done for me but I can honestly say you would be missing a trick by using another solicitor for a road traffic offence! It depends how serious your case is I suppose but today I was fined £1000 and had 6 points put on my licence for doing 116mph in a 70mph zone…..without the advice and support from Euan I would not have my licence right now!!!
